Became a grandpa for the first time. My daughter and her hubby became new parents when they delivered a baby boy named Joel T. Campbell on May 22nd at 4:34 in the morning. Little Joel weighed in at 6lbs and is 18 3/4 inches tall. He was born in Plano, Texas just northeast of Dallas.
My wife and I traveled to Plano two weeks ago to see our grandson and was immediately smitten. He is a handsome little guy and is all boy. Is he ever! He's not a fussy baby but when he's hungry he let's you know it. My daughter was late feeding him and he let out a wail that spooked the dogs. Mom and Dad have two huskies. They don't let noises bother them. But this time Joel's wailing did the trick. Those dogs started barking like no tomorrow. Joel got fed!
We had a great time getting acquainted with the little fella. He likes to snuggle with his Mama. And he can roll over from his belly to his back. When he does is just coos. Being a first time grandpa takes a little time getting use to. But I think I'll have it down when little Joel comes to grandma and grandpa's house in the future!!!
